TOUR PROCESS: Cyclists will be picked up at your Inn and transported via a scenic route to the ride start point and transported back to the Inn after the day’s ride, in order to provide the most beautiful ride possible with extremely low traffic and magnificent scenery. However, it’s possible the ride could begin from your Inn depending on the location.
BIKES: We do not rent bicycles. It is best to bring and ride your own bicycle with your saddle. However, if rentals are needed, contact AJ’s Ski & Sport shop in Stowe https://stowesports.com/ and either SkiRack or LocoMotion in Burlington https://www.skirack.com/ and https://www.localmotion.org/
WHAT TO BRING: Your bicycle with gear, two water bottles and clothes (wet/cold weather) Also a small backpack for gear during transporting to ride start point, and casual clothes after rides for Heidi’s Tea Time. (info on DAILY ITINERARY page)
GUIDE(S): Guide(s) will ride along unless transport is required.
ROUTES: Each ride route is designed with a specific start point to provide the best ride possible. The Island and Countryside rides are 20-26 miles (can be less if needed) and can be increased to 27-42. All the rides, except for the Green Mountain climbs, have a place halfway to refuel. The halfway point on the climbs is the top, so preparation is the key! Tour and ride description on WEEKLY ITINERARY and RIDE RATINGS page.
